                                        Goodbye Marmaris...See You Soon

We had a really great time and I would definitely recommend a trip to Turkey. We did experience 45 degree heat so unless you like it really hot you may want to visit during the cooler months.

There are plenty of "designer" bargains to be had but do be prepared to haggle. The Turkish are very friendly and welcome tourists so don`t be afraid to browse. Just remember to take a big suitcase with you as you will end up buying more than you think.

That's it for now but see my other post for my essential holiday items...have a great Summer everyone!

Holiday Essentials

Having just returned from holiday, I thought I would put together the products I cannot do without on holiday. Some are old favourites and some are new finds for 2015.

Sun Protection

 SPF15 Lotion

We all know the damage that sun exposure can cause but we can minimise the effects by using a good sun cream with a high SPF. You do not have to pay a lot for a really good quality suncream with a 5 star UVA rating. Aldi do a great suncream at a price thats right, I used it in Corfu and Turkey and didn't burn at all. It comes in a variety of SPF`s and also has a kids version too. At £1.99 you can afford to stock up.

New for 2015 Boots No7 suncream with a built in BB cream, genius! This is great for the first few days when your tan may be a bit uneven. It also comes in SPF 30 and SPF50

No7 Protect and Perfect Intense ADVANCED BB Facial Sun Protection SPF30 Medium 50ml - Boots

 Haircare

Those of you who follow me on instagram know that on holiday I turn into a giant frizz bomb. I end up tying my hair back for two weeks and grin and bear it. Not any more....... I discovered this little beauty and I was able to wear my hair down and straight...yippee

Make up

I like to keep it simple on holiday so I pack a few essential items for a glamorous but simple look.

My go to foundation is Clinique CC cream, its light enough to wear in hot temperatures and you can get samples from Clinique in a darker shade than your normal colour.

Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream Hydrating Colour Corrector Broad Spectrum SPF 30 - Boots

For eyes I keep it simple with Maybelline EyeStudio Colour Tattoo, this stuff does not budge, even in 45 degree heat!

For lashes it has to be Lancome Hynose Drama

Lancome Hypnose Drama - Instant Full Body Volume Mascara - Boots

For cheeks its Max Factor Creme Puff Blush

With a sweep of Revlon Highlighting Palette on the cheek bones

Revlon® Highlighting Palette - Boots

For lips I prefer a wash of colour so my favourite is Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm, they hydrate and add just a hint of colour.

Skincare

After a day sunbathing you need to make sure you have thoroughly cleansed hydrated skin so I use Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water to remove suncream and any surface dirt. Boots do a 125ml travel size. Its also great for removing make up after a night on the town.

I then follow with a rich cleanser such as Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm

To finish I use Paula's Choice Resist Super Antioxidant Serum

Followed by Paula's Choice Daily Moisturiser

I hope this has been helpful to you and wish you all a very happy and safe Summer. Let me know where you are off too, I would love to hear your holiday stories.

I hope you enjoy the photos, we really had an amazing time and would definitely recommend Grand Mediterraneo Resort & Spa. One thing worth mentioning is its an adults only hotel so only over 18`s are allowed, sorry kids.  A few people we spoke to also mentioned that they had combined their weeks stay with a cruise....hmmm am researching that for next year!

Get Summer Body Ready Week Two

Sorry for the late post but it's been a busy week. My Mom and her partner hired a narrowboat and asked us to join her for for a few days and it was my sisters 40th birthday.

First of all a weight update, its not really been a great week for dieting, but I have still managed to lose another 3lbs taking my total loss so far to 8lbs.

I have also been on the hunt for a bikini, what a nightmare! It is almost impossible to find decent swimwear at a reasonable price for bigger busted women. I have looked on the High Street and have found nothing. If your listening Next, M&S, Debenhams you need to stock a better range of sizes and produce more styles for curvy women. I have had to order online, which is ok, but it would be nice to try them on as I'm not sure which styles will suit my figure. Yeah, it might look amazing on the swimwear model but on a 46 year old with saggy bits...I'm not so sure!

Here's what I've ordered so far from Figleaves

Get Summer Body Ready - Week One

Okay, I have booked my holiday and I now I need to get my body ready for Summer eek!!

Here's what I am aiming for.....

Kate Upton Courtesy of www.latimes.com

Who am I kidding?

Okay, I would really love to look like Kate Upton but in reality I have got to work with what I have. So here's my countdown to getting my body Summer ready week one....

This week was my first week Booshing and I have lost 5lbs, still on target for a stone. See my other posts for details Fast Weight Loss Diet Plans & Shakes, VLCD Meal Replacements Food – Boossh

Also on my list is to start exfoliating, I recently purchased a new epilator as my old one went kaput. This particular model has a body brush attachment which is really handy. I used it in the shower with my normal shower gel and then used a moisturiser afterwards. Braun Silk-épil 9 SkinSpa 9961 Wet and Dry Epilator Exfoliator - Boots

I have also ordered the St. Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion, I will post a review when I have given it a thorough test St.Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion 200ml - Boots

That's it for now, see you  next week!

Boosh Weight Loss Programme - Countdown to Wedding Anniversary One Week On

Okay, so I've been Booshing for a week now and have lost 5 lbs. I know that may not seem a lot to some but, for me, that's pretty impressive. Whenever I have joined slimming clubs before  I normally lose about 2lbs in my first week, so 5lbs is a bloody miracle!

I have liked all of the meals and shakes so far except the mushroom soup which tasted awful and smelt of chemicals so I will be returning them. However, the Strawberry Jam Hot Cereal is delicious and tastes just like Oatso Simple so will replace the Mushroom soups with these. You can swap items you do not like on your first order which is great as who wants to be stuck with products they hate?

So, as I embark on week two I have an added incentive as I have booked a holiday!!! Whoo hoo!!! See you next week.......
